Inuyasha in the middle of transformation, half-human, half-hanyou. Made in Painter. The kanji logos are draw with pen tool, using an oficial logo as reference.
UPDATE in 03-02-2007: As I'm a target to art thiefs, I'm changing the file for one with a smaller size and a larger watermark. Doing this, I know visitors can't see the details, but is to try to prevent problems. |

The position is good, the background is good, AND the kanji is good too.

Your shadow is a little confusing in places, but I do the same thing. I think it's often hard to find the right shadows for anime/cartoon characters because they are so flat. They really do have very paperesque features. Also it's a little difficult to tell the difference between his white undershirt and his skin. The colors are very similar, but perhaps you were going for that. I don't know, I'm not the artist afterall. Anyways, overall this is a good anime piece. I like the composition for the most part, but perhaps you should consider moving him more to one side if you ever so a similar piece. I think having him dead center sort of takes away some interest. Things tend to look even more exciting when they are not dead center.
